Qf4 doesn't threaten to checkmate but yeah it wins you a material.
I don't like how he says "gets lucky" before the game starts. He spoils the result before the game even starts.
хуеврот твой почем
and commentators did not see the fork before Carlsen made the move . Nice ending of the game where even mediocre level chess fan can relate with Wei. Pretty sure every chessplayer in the world fell into that knight fork trap, but it does not happen very often on super-GM level .
Never want to hear this woman again
What a horrible comment by johvanka realy disgusting
Please make it available for download.
I am very big fan of you
I am from India
Your explanation is very very nice sir
"30 or 40 years ago." The cc are wrong. Interesting perspective on chess and technology.
10 wins staright baby🔥🔥
Glad to see Wei Yi joining the world elite after quite a few years of struggle. Love his playing style too!
I am confused by both Erigisi and yasser miscalculating that…
I think Yasser played along so that the audience understood what the player missed, I mean the evaluation is showing
"I'm a grandmaster at giving up, that's why i get married in two weeks YAAAYYY" god i lost it
Full video you can in gothamchess channel
Please cover the whole game for the games with a single camera position of the physical board like this.
Just wondering if you can show a complete game from one angle (including the clocks) with no editting?
I wonder in which decade rapid and blitz chess will be presented properly, and the game given its due respect it deserves
Rrr! Unwatchable coverage of rapid chess as usual. You said you were going to 'focus on' games! To me that means literally sticking to a decent camera position of the board and clocks and following the game in its entirety. Great view of the board of Gukesh v Yi up until 12:02, but after that I switched off. Can you NOT switch screens for your analysis, just put insets in the corners if you want to do hypothetical lines / analysis etc? It's really important in rapid and blitz to keep the camera focus on the board continuously, because time is such a central element. Because when we return to the physical board at 20:10 it's changed out of all recognition, and the action is missed. Can you imagine panning away in the middle of a tennis match for 8 minutes while commentators discuss and hypothesise? And when do you ever see the commentators faces during a tennis match? Never. Please do better in the next tournament.
I don’t understand removing the eval bar during the scrambles.
10 wins straight😂
Drake?
Magnus is a genius. How he came back to top the list is unbelievable!
Love Varuzhan!
I don’t believe what Jovanka said is correct, my understanding has always been that you will steam roll 150s with it because the moves play themselves and your 150 opponent (or below) won’t be able to defend
This was total disrespectful😂
If Yasser had -500 rating he wouldn’t be anywhere near a Chess media broadcaster, being completely inappropriate is not uncommon for him
Corona stop that get away
Johvanka hates carlsen haha but does nothing matters
I don’t have full confidence in my chess ability, proceeds to smoke everyone and edging Wei Yi 😆
Wild game
Proud father 😅
dont you hate it when your opponent forks your king and rook ? I know the feeling , but Wei is 2700+ super GM ., when was last time it happened to him ?
Imagine you are having a tournament of your life beating everyone else, and then there is this guy named "Magnus" just playing his decent games and still won the tournament somehow.
This Jovana.. iam sorry she might be a great person, but She does NOT belong in chess commentary! From Yasser to all, everyone is fed up!
Yeah, dude came back and crushed all these upstarts!!! and WON THE TOURNEMENT
I watched that game with two friends, and we turned off the eval bar, so we could only try to work out who was better. Eventually, we knew Fabi should win, but we could see how tricky it was, and as the endgame went on, we had no idea wether he was finding the right moves, or had maybe already blundered. We just had to wait and see how the game would turn out. It was the only time I ever watched an entire classical chess game start to finish, and I was never once bored, great stuff!
magnus car best ever
So that analysis of Duda vs Keymer @ 2:58:50 was really bad. It seemed to be very interesting end game and she explained nothing. If that card with the result didn't pop up, you wouldn't even know the result. Really disappointing.
I always enjoy with Yasser as commentator ...he is the best for that ...hope every big tournament they invite him
Now at move 69, Anish Giri stole another pawn
Lmao, the interviewer asking who he is playing against, instead of the opposite 😂😂😂
damn so happy to fnd more Ben Finegold lectures :) not quite as charming as him teaching a bunch of kids but just as entertaining and informative.
Lol the world championship chellenger scored first from but from the bottom. I really like Gukesh but i really feel that the quality of chess is deteriorating
Hermit the pragg vs high wei 😂😂
This is why Magnus shakes hand when Pragg wins. He wins for Magnus
The best's thoughts on the best.
Prag ur a master mind sir
You cannot use engine to check blitz game and say the player make mistake, mistake, mistake.
TOTALLY GOAT
